About us

Lockett & Co. was established in July 1992 as a consultancy embracing all retail matters including property, planograms, retail viability studies and off-licence applications. Over the years the licensing element has grown in importance, particularly since the introduction of the new Licensing Act 2003.

Our in-house training facilities in Kidderminster, Braintree and Benfleet together with our status as a BII Grade 1 training provider permit us to undertake training courses at suitable venues throughout England and Wales and allow us to offer an enhanced level of service to candidates.

Lockett & Co. are widely acknowledged as being leaders in our field and at the forefront of licensing application initiatives, our client base reflects this, from high street retailers to independent stores, from multi national forecourt operators to domestic CTN (confectioner tobacconist and newsagent) groups and universities, Lockett & Co. supports them all.

The Licensing Act 2003 has presented operators, trainers and service providers with the immense challenge of getting to grips with new legislation and implementing it on the shop floor.
